The PPD Beach2Battleship Triathlon events move into its fifth year on the international sports scene. On October 20, 2012 over 1,500 triathletes will test their mettle as they battle every mile with hopes of finishing this grueling event.
The PPD Beach2Battleship was recently picked as the second best Iron Distance triathlon in the U.S. by Triathlete Magazine and fifth best in the world. In a very short time this sports spectacle has grabbed the attention of the triathlon-world. Participants from 12 nations and 41 states competed in the PPD B2B in 2011 alone.
